We had two boys who each achieved third place in their year group. A fantastic result!
Health Week 2017
During this week the children will be developing their knowledge about healthy lifestyles and healthy foods.
Healthy Meal Competition
Well done to all the children who entered the competition. We had a fantastic response of 50 entries.
The sports crew and Mrs Dickson found it very hard to choose a winner as there were lots of tasty meals.
Some of the meals will be displayed in the school hall.

Meet the School Sports Crew
Prior Park School Sports Crew
A school sports crew has been set up within school and they are currently organising the activities for Sports Relief on the 18th March.
School Competition
Nursery and Reception had a Christmas themed competition on Friday 11th December. The activities were based around the skills of speed,balance and throwing.
This term Year 4 children have received some leadership training and a rota system has been set up to enable the children to lead structured play/sporting activities in the early years, key stage 1 and in key stage 2.
Chris Corcoran delivered some skipping skills to the Year 3 and 4 children. Since the workshop, the children are motivated and excited to skip! We are now seeing lots of children practising daily on the playground and their skills are improving very quickly.
We sent a team of 27 children to the festival from both class 3 and class 4. The children had a great morning and we managed to pick up 1 silver award and 2 gold awards.
Well done to all the children who took part!
Tri-golf festival at the Swan Centre
We sent a team of 10 Year 4 pupils to the festival and they returned to school with a bronze medal. Well done, we are all very proud of your achievements!
School Competition
An EYFS dodgeball competition took place on the 27th March.
The children were great team players and have fun whilst playing.
The winning team was the green team.
Well done everyone who took part!!
K.S.2 Hockey Competition
The children in class 3 and 4 showed great skill and determination during the competition.
Great fun had by all who took part.
K.S.2 Rounders competition
The children in Class 3 and 4 had a wonderful afternoon competing in a rounders tournament. Lots of team spirit and determination was shown. The overall victors were Jupiter!
School Games
Friday 1st May- School games Tag Rugby at Berwick Rugby club
We are sending two teams from Year 4
Monday 18th May- School games Quadkids.
All Year 4 children will all take part in 4 events ( sprint, longer distance run, howler throw and a standing jump) and their individual scores/times will be recorded for each event and sent in to Dave Pick. He will verify which school qualifies for the school games in June.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
