Hello Class One,
I hope you are all well.
Here are your activities for this coming week. We have decided as a school that following the Oak academy online lessons may be the most beneficial option for our children.
All links for the lessons are in the plan.

I hope you enjoy these activities as much as I did!

Hello Class One,
Just a quick reminder, please watch RWI Set 2 and Set 3 daily sound lessons available on YouTube each day. This now includes spellings as well as speed sounds. Please try to record the spellings like we do in class with dots and dashes.
Also, I will be posting next weeks timetable on Sunday night.
I hope you are all staying safe and well.
Mrs Brown.
Hello Class One, I hope you have all had a lovely break for Easter and I hope you are all staying safe.
Below I have attached your weekly learning timetable for the week beginning the 20th April. Please also remember to watch your daily phonic lesson on YouTube (Set 2 and Set 3).
Take your time with each activity, I have tried to keep the timetable as similar to our daily timetable at school as I can. Hopefully we will be back to normal soon.
Stay safe,
Mrs Brown.
I have had a few requests (which is great!) for some additional spellings. Above is a PDF of 100 high frequency words (words that the children will see all the time). Please select 10 to learn at a time. I would recommend choosing two or three letter words to begin with to allow the children to gain confidence for the more difficult words.
Stay safe,
Mrs Brown.
For your second challenge please can you bake something or help an adult to cook a meal. Write down which ingredients you have used.
For a challenge, can you write step by step instructions on how you created your cake or meal.
Your writing can be written in your green workbook.
Please don't forget to either take a photograph or draw a picture of your creation.
Good luck!
Mrs Brown.
Hello Class One,
I hope you are all well and are keeping busy with lots of learning! I am really looking forward to seeing all that you have been doing when we are back in school.
Please remember to visit youtube everyday to watch Ruth Miskin set 2 and set 3 RWI phonic sessions. They are updated daily.
Thank you to those of you who have logged on to School360 and have accessed the resources.
Please keep checking this website as from next week I will be posted work for you to complete.
Stay safe and I hope to see you all soon,
Mrs Brown.
For your first challenge, please go into your garden and collect some natural materials. This can include grass, twigs, stones, pebbles etc - whatever you can find!
Then create an image using the natural materials. After you have finished, take a photograph or draw a picture of your design in your green work book and write about which materials you used and how you created your design. You could write in sentences or you could write numbered instructions.
Good luck!
Mrs Brown.
Remember to look at "Joe Wickes" PE sessions which are uploaded to youtube everyday.
You could also have a go at GoNoodle or Cosmic Kids Yoga Stars/stories.
Stay safe,
Mrs Brown.
Our Christmas play this year is Silent Night and Class One have been chosen to be snowflakes.
In school we will be making snowflake headbands to wear.
If you would like to bring in a costume (white t-shirt, light grey trousers, white leggings or tights), please bring it into school by Friday 6th December.
The costumes will be kept in class.
Thank you,
Mrs Brown.
