Bikeability Balance Cycle Training

Reception Class have had so much fun learning to ride bikes today, the fun will continue tomorrow.

This half term in Reception Class we are going to be learning about living a healthy life. In Class we have been making delicious healthy snacks and getting active with Mr Hodgson. Here are some photos of what we have been up to so far.

Easter Egg Hunt

We have had so much fun today hunting for eggs and solving the puzzle. The Golden Egg was behind the bug hotel and led us to the treasure, beautiful egg cosies with chocolate eggs inside. Happy Easter!

We have been having fun, learning to hula hoop. We have mastered the art of hula hooping and learnt some tricks too!

Tuesday 23rd January Peer Massage - We have loved learning how to do massage with our friends.

Peer Massage

We had to solve a Superhero puzzle! We received a letter asking for help from the Superhero Supermarket where all the Superheroes buy the things they need to save the world. Super Bear had written a letter in code and we had to decode it. We worked very hard and we solved the puzzle. 
Welcome back after the Christmas holidays. This term in Reception we will be turning into Superheroes, what will your magic power be? Please remember to bring your bookfolder, water bottle and PE kit everyday.

Superhero Topic

We have an Elf in our classroom and he left us a very small note and a present. Elf Man stayed with us until the last day when he had to go back to Santa's workshop.

Story telling with Don.

Don, from the library came to tell us stories. We all enjoyed it and are looking forward to him returning again.

Reading Challenge 2017

We have already earned brag tags for all the fantastic reading we are doing at home.

Our First full day in Reception class.

 

We have been very busy in Reception Class learning new routines.  We have had time to decorate some  biscuits and go on a nature walk to look for signs of Autumn.

This half term our topic is called, 'Colours of the World'. We will be learning about different celebrations around the world as well as lots of other exciting things. Please have a look at our Topic web to find out more about what we will be learning.
