We hope you enjoy looking at what we have been learning in school.

Please Note:

We have PE on Mondays and Tuesdays, please ensure your child has their correct PE kit in school. Swimming will continue most Thursdays so please ensure your child has their swimming kit on this day. Earrings (if they have them) must be taken out on PE and swimming days.

 

Your child will read in class twice a week. Please ensure reading is completed at home and reading books are returned to school daily. Your child will also require a water bottle in class.

We celebrated the NSPCC Number Day on Friday 1st February. Lots of us came to school with numbers on our clothes and we took part in lots of number activities.

We recorded ourselves delivering instructions for how to wrap a Christmas present.

Year 3 Personal Best Festival

We had a money and budget workshop delivered by staff from Newcastle Building Society

We are learning to identify equal groups in mathematics

Berwick Literary Festival: We walked to the Guildhall to hear and see some stories told by a professional storyteller.

Tag Rugby with Dougie

We are learning to identify the features of adventure stories

Mr. Skippy came to teach us some skipping skills.

We 'trained like a jedi' for National Fitness Day

Our parents came to see how we learn our spellings.

In our art lessons we have been learning to draw portraits.

We used charcoal and sketching pencils.
