The term before your child starts in our nursery class you will be invited into school to take part in this
new and exciting introduction to starting nursery and getting to know our lovely school.
This term the programme runs for 3 weeks every Tuesday and Thursday morning and will enable your child to spend some time in our nursery class, whilst there is time for you to meet with other parents.
At the parent sessions you will get some hints and tips about behaviour, speech and language and be able to share any other worries you may have about your child starting in nursery. Each session there will something to collect for your child's, "goody bag." This will include games, a book and at the last session, a school sweatshirt for the start of their journey!
Each session will be arranged as follows:
9.00-10.00 Children will be based in the nursery, while parents/carers meet in our Community Room
10.00-10.30 Children will join parents/carers in our Breakfast Room for snack time and an activity.
The first session includes an introduction to the programme.
This is a great opportunity for you and your child but please remember that in order for your child to benefit from this gentle introduction to our Nursery Class, you are required to take part in our parent sessions.
