Hello Class 1,
It feels very strange being in school without you all here! I hope we can all be back in class soon but in the meantime please complete the work in your packs. I am sure you will all produce some fantastic work.
Please look at this page regularly and you will be able to see where you can access your child's home learning. Every week I will put up a timetable for you to follow at home. Work packs can be dropped off and new ones collected on a Friday.
Please remember to look on YouTube at the Ruth Miskin homepage where your daily speed sound lessons will be available - we are learning set 2 and set 3.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or need any help.
The CBBC channel on your television will be streaming live lessons every day. There will also be live "Sing Up" music sessions on Tuesday mornings at 9am with a different artist leading each week just follow this link https://www.youtube.com/singup.
Also the PE superstar Joe Wicks will be hosting live workouts on a Monday, Wednesday and a Friday which I am sure will be lots of fun!
Please remember to login to School 360 and if you have any work you want to share with me, you can upload it to your School 360 account.
Stay safe and I look forward to seeing all your hard work!
If you would like to read some Read Write Inc books at home, Oxford Owl have some free E-Books available.
Please ask your child which "colour" book they are reading.
Here is an example of a book which can be read at home - this story is called Dragon Bay.
Please copy this link into your browser and the book is ready to be read!

To all our Class 1 pupils and parents,
Have a lovely half term and well deserved rest.
Merry Christmas and Happy New year!
We cannot wait to hear about all your adventures and presents in January.
At the beginning of each week we will be putting a small letter in each child's reading record. This letter will contain links that you can type into Google of the phonic sounds we are learning in class.
Please watch these with your child.
