Week beginning 18th January 2021
Hello Class 2 and parents!
A new week and a new timetable. Well done all the children who completed their Schools 360 activity as well as their written work. I am very proud of you! Please remember to complete the feedback sheet (at the bottom of your timetable) to let me know what you have learned after each session.
This week, your School 360 task is to watch the handwriting video in your files and complete the sheet in your pack. Login to School 360, click on resources on your home page, then click on j2e, then go into my files and you will find a handwriting video to watch. I have also recorded a story for you which can be found in the same way.
Just like last week, you have a choice of whether you follow the online links or the paper copies. It is easier to visit the school website and click on Class 2 to get the timetable, then you can click on the links which will take you directly to the lessons. If you choose to follow Money in maths, there are links to a short video to support learning. As well as this, you could set up a shop, using items from around your home. Price each item and show the different ways of making those amounts. Upload your pictures to your School 360 files.
I have included a winter scavenger hunt that you could use when you are out getting your daily exercise, as well as a Stem Starters activity sheet with lots of different Science based tasks. If you complete any of the tasks please take a photo and upload it to your School360 file. All efforts will receive Avatar points.
All work needs to be returned by Friday 22nd and the new pack for the following week collected. Please remember to be kind and patient with your family Class 2, everyone is trying their best, don't forget to believe, achieve and succeed.
Take care everyone!
Mrs Tait
Week beginning 11th January 2021
Hello Class 2!
Well this was not the start to the new year that I was hoping for, but, just like you I am going to try to be resilient and persevere with our situation.
Each week there will be a new timetable for you to follow, which I will upload to this page. There will be links to online lessons as well as activities that you can do if you are finding accessing the internet tricky (please let me know if you are). Please return your completed work on a Friday and collect your new pack, which will contain all the resources you need for the following weeks learning.
There will be live Sing Up music sessions on a Tuesday morning at 9am with a different artist leading each week just copy and paste this link in your search bar https://www.youtube.com/singup
The BBC are also streaming live lessons on the CBBC channel on your television or you can access them through this link https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/5jnTq52LFwHHy8tw89SfGRJ/bbc-live-lessons
Please remember to login to School 360 click on resources and then j2e, then j2write. I would like you to choose a background and write me a short descriptive sentence using adjectives and conjunctions. Once you have done that upload it so I can award you some Avatar points! Have fun and be as creative as you can!
This is the alternative link for your PSHE lesson on Friday. Please complete activity 1 www.coramlifeeducation.org.uk/scarf/home-learning-unit-2
I miss you all so much Class 2, but we will all be together again as soon as it is safe to do so. In the meantime, try your best, be kind and don't stop until you're proud!
